Set in a quiet hamlet near to St Austell and with easy access to the A30 this 200 year old, listed cottage is perfect for couples, friends and families providing an excellent base from which to explore Cornwall.

Perfectly situated you will be within walking distance of the China Clay Museum and a popular local pub, and also enjoys nearby access to the famous clay trails, which provide a fantastic way to explore this part of Cornwall on foot or bike. Alternatively head towards the coast where you will find the nearest sandy beach at Par Sands just a short drive away, and the famous surfing beaches at Newquay only slightly further. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include The Eden Project, the market town of St Austell, just a short drive or a very pleasant, not so short, walk along dedicated footpaths, and the county capital of Truro, which boasts and array of shops, bars and restaurants.

Step inside and you will find the cosy lounge. This room boasts comfortable sofas sat in front of a TV/DVD and a warming wood burner with a great selection of books and games, providing the perfect place to relax after a day exploring. The kitchen/diner can be found on the other side of the entrance hallway and is offering a further wood burner. Here you will also discover a selection of kitchen appliances including an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The downstairs accommodation has underfloor heating. Venturing up the cottage style stairs to the first floor you will discover the bedrooms, these comprise of two stylish double bedrooms and a cosy single bedroom with an additional single pull out bed, that can accommodate one child. The contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC completes the offering inside the property.

Located outside and to the side of the cottage is a delightful little courtyard area with garden furniture and BBQ, providing a perfect place to dine alfresco in warm weather. Private off-road parking for three cars is provided directly opposite the cottage.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
