This cottage is situated in the quiet village of Weybourne on the North Norfolk coast- a pleasant village with a convenient shop, welcoming pub, and delightful pebble beach which is popular with sea anglers and those who enjoy leisurely walks by the sea. Just 8-miles east of the village, the town of Cromer is the perfect seaside town for families and those who want to enjoy all the facilities of a traditional British resort. The town has two sandy beaches, as well as a pier with a theatre at the end which shows a programme of fun variety shows. There is an excellent range of independent cafes and restaurants to choose from, many of which serve the locally-caught crab for which the town is famous. Further afield, yet still within easy driving distance, there are many more seaside towns and villages to explore, where visitors can swim, paddle, sunbathe, and even take wildlife tours and boat trips.
The front door of this traditional cottage-style property opens directly into the hallway with stairs leading to the first floor, from the hallway a cosy lounge, a pleasant room with a wood burner-effect electric fire in the fireplace and a TV/DVD in the lounge which guests can enjoy from the two inviting sofas. Unusually for a cottage of this size, there are two separate dining spaces, one a formal dining room and the other a breakfast area in the kitchen. This sunny room is well-equipped with an AGA-style oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and an iPod dock. A separate utility, meanwhile, houses the washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a Belfast sink. Also on the ground floor, there is a handy shower room with WC, which is great for washing off the sand after a day at the beach. Stairs from the hallway lead tothe first floor where there are three bedrooms. The first of these is a spacious king size room having plenty of built in wardrobe space, this room also benefits from an en-suite shower room with double shower cubicle, wash hand basin and WC, three steps lead down to the second king-size room, which has zip-and-link bed allowing it to be made up as a twin room on request., this bedroom can be accessed through the first, or alternatively via a separate set of steep stairs from the kitchen. There is a bathroom with shower over the bath, wash hand basin and WC. The third bedroom has a double bed and plenty of space to store clothes, opposite the bedroom there is a further shower room with WC.
Outside, there is an enclosed garden to the front of the cottage which has a small lawn and a seating area, whilst to the rear of the property, there is a pleasant courtyard area with garden furniture and a BBQ for guests to use. There is on-street parking available on the street outside the property.
