Walks from the door. Well placed for Hope Valley, Edale, Lady Bower, White Peaks, Dark Peak, Kinder. Did the job fine for us.

Lovely cottage in the heart of the Peak District. Perfect as a base for walking. Quiet, rural location but only a short walk into Hope for amenities. Very comfortable and warm, much appreciated after some cold, wet walks in February. Already planning to return in the spring/summer. Very helpful owners.

We found this cottage perfect for our needs - comfortable for lounging after a long day's walking; warm and comfy beds; plenty of room for a party of mostly full-grown people. Nice big bathroom with a good shower. A good location for short walks and a pleasant 20 minute walk to the village for shops/pub (a bit longer uphill on the way back!)
