The cottage is beautiful and well appointed but the holiday was ruined by the flies. I was very disappointed that there was no mention on the website of this problem. There was an industrial fly zapper in the kitchen so flies are clearly a problem. The electric fly swatter in the cottage was destroyed but previous guest and not replaced. There was Read morea heatwave and we couldn't sleep with the windows open. Screens or fans should have been provided. It was unbearably hot and uncomfortable. Hide

Cottage was like a picture postcard. Well equipped, lovely modern kitchen. Had lots of games and puzzles which was very good as unfortunately we were there when storm Dennis was going on so weather was bad. Wood burner fire was lovely and appreciated the wood, also nice touch with milk and biscuits that were left as well as tea and coffee.

A perfect cottage in a perfect peaceful location. Beautifully finished inside, a lovely secluded garden and patio outside. A stones throw from a great pub. Ideal location for exploring and a pleasure coming home and lighting the open fire for a cosy evening in. Would love to return.
