Spacious property located in a pleasant residential area close to all that the harbour town of Brixham has to offer, including the harbour, beach, and town centre shopping.

Brixham is known for its busy harbour which is steeped in history and once a popular target for pirates and smugglers. Visitors can learn more about the town’s fascinating history with a visit to the fantastic replica of the Golden Hind or perhaps following in the footsteps of Blackbeard, by taking the Brixham Buccaneers Trail. The town’s main beach, Breakwater enjoys warm waters and is popular with scuba divers, as well as beach lovers. For those who want guaranteed safe swimming whatever the tidal conditions, the saltwater lido at Shoalstone makes a wonderful place for a dip.

On arriving at this property, guests will find plentiful parking on the spacious driveway which leads round to the main door at the side of the property. The main living area on the ground floor has a large open-plan lounge/diner which has a comfortable seating area, TV, DVD, feature fireplace and a bay window which affords views across to the bay. The dining area has a well-sized dining table and patio doors which open out onto a decked balcony. The contemporary kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Two of the three bedrooms can be found on the ground floor: a king-size and a twin, both of which overlook the property’s garden. The bathroom with a bath, large walk in shower and WC is also located on the ground floor. There is also a separate cloakroom with WC and hand basin. The master bedroom enjoys its own space on the first floor of the property, with a king-size bed and sea views.

Outside, as well as the balcony to the front of the property, there is also an attractive rear garden which has a lawned area and a raised deck with garden furniture. There is off-road parking for several cars on the driveway.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

  • There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars.

Superb position. Clean tidy and every thing you could possibly need in the bungalow. Perfect position for touring round the various.places.plus able to take our two labradors . Perfect holiday .A1 will definitely be back. Sue & Steve.

Location was brilliant... house was lovely.. furnishings were amazing.... 2 bathrooms very handy and clean... garden was excellent for the dog.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Dormer Bungalow. It was clean beds were very comfortable it had everything a family of five could need . Theres some great coastal walks to be had right near the property . We liked the walk to Berry Head thats only a short walk away we spotted porpoises and seals off the cliff tops . The bus service was superb it Read morecost 10 return for a family of five to visit Paignton or Torquay and the buses were very frequent too . Ample off road parking too. Hide

Lovely comfortable home. Within walking distance to the habour but very steep roads. Only annoyance was the neighbours attached to the property, who can be loud at times.

This is an excellent base for Devon. Walks and beaches Are in easy reach, superb restaurants in the harbour when you get back

Lovely bungalow, just a short walk to breakwater beach. Watch out for the seagulls, 1 sits on top of the roof ready to swoop if your dog is outside.

We had a great week in Brixham, house was in a fantastic location with plenty of room for 3 cars. Lovely views and suitable for our dog with nearby walks and a practical back garden for him. Five adults had enough space inside and we would stay again. Also ate out at some lovely restaurants around the harbour area.

The cottage was clean and tidy. The location was perfect, only a short walk to the harbour and less than 10 minutes into the centre of town.

Good location. Good beds. Parking for 2 or 3 cars - care needed for drivers with larger cars as turning circle not as generous as it might appear in the photo - not a major problem and given the 5 min walk to the harbour, a small price for being close to Brixham centre.
