Could not fault this accommodation at all, everything we could possibly need was there, only drawback was the local pub not being open but this was due to the pandemic and it is due to open in November 2020. Ideal for dog owners. Phone signal not great but free wifi made up for that and we managed to get a couple of meals delivered through Just EatRead more. Very friendly and helpful owner. We are definitely planning on a return visit! Hide

Lovely and quiet. Very central to all places we wanted to visit. Instow beach was a very good place to exercise our dog. Milk and goodies awaited us upon our arrival. Overall we had a lovely time.

We found this accommodation very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen dinner. Good sized lounge. Comfortable bed. Good en-suite and family bathroom. The cottage is fairly good for a touring base and while the living room and kitchen diner are spacious they are very basic with minimal equipment. The bedrooms are very small and the en suite not suitable for larger people. There is no view from the windows apart from a building and the garden is accessible only by walking round the cottage. The owRead morener is very pleasant and on site if you need her. Hide

A lovely cottage in the countryside, with everything you could need. Nice dog friendly pub round the corner and a 24 hour Spa at the garage 10 minutes away if you get caught short for bread and milk at 1:00 in the morning. Landlady was very friendly and helpful. Great location for exploring North Devon.

A nice well equipped cottage in rural location. Fitted the bill for us as a base to explore the local area.

We all enjoyed our stay at the cottage and Jess was a lovely host. The cottage was spacious, quiet and clean. It is quite remote so a car is recommended but provides a good base to visit places. The local pub is a few mins walk and does nice food but as others have said you need to be careful walking on the road in the dark. The large local supermaRead morerket is about 10 mins drive if you wish to self cater. Hide

The only thing not really mentioned on the description is how secluded it really is which is lovely if you have transport but if we had had our older children, who don't drive with us, it would have been a nightmare! The road is very busy so you can't really walk anywhere...the pub just about if you hurry!! We had a lovely stay at The Hayloft. Jess was very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the large garden with a swing and slide was brilliant for our toddler.

A lovely barn conversion which is very comfortable with a modern interior. Mrs Morgan the owner was very helpful. We found the location was ideal for bike hire in Barnstaple and coastal walks from Instow to the west, to Lynmouth in the north. We had lovely weather and the scenery was amazing.
