Ground-floor apartment situated in the popular seaside town of Woolacombe in North Devon, with the town’s amenities, including shops, eateries and the large sandy beach all within walking distance.

This apartment is located in the heart of the seaside town of Woolacombe, a popular destination for holidaymakers, mainly thanks to the town’s stunning sandy beach which stretches on for an impressive three miles and is manned by lifeguards from Easter to September. More adventurous types may like to try their hand at a new water sport, such as kayaking, surfing, or stand-up paddleboarding, lessons in which are all available at the beachside surf school. For those who fancy spending some time away from the beach, there is plenty to see and do in the area, including Combe Martin Wildlife Park, Watermouth Castle, boat rides from Ilfracombe harbour, and Exmoor National Park.

On entering this ground-floor apartment, guests will find the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its huge corner sofa and TV/DVD in the lounge area, making this a great space in which to relax and unwind. The dining area, on the other side of the room, has a table seating six, next to which the raised kitchen area is reached via one step up. Guests will find everything they need here in the contemporary kitchen, including an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. The apartment has two bedrooms, the first of which is a spacious double room with its own TV/DVD, and has space for an additional fold-out single bed which can be provided on request. This room benefits from an en-suite shower and WC, so there is no queuing for the bathroom in the mornings. The second bedroom is a cosy twin room and there is another shower room with WC.

There is roadside parking available near to the apartment, for which a 5 day parking permit is provided in high peak season.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The accommodation was very noisy in late evening and night due to two takeaway food outlets very close by. Large groups of noisy customers queuing up and screeching cars using these shops. Parking very difficult as only two daily permits supplied for whole week. Great location but do take care about where you park. The bays directly outside the property are restricted to 1 hour between 10 and 6.00. Residents parking is in the roads first right going up the hill and this is not immediately clear. Moeraki Coffee on South St and Tides Inn highly recommended.

Location is spot on- if you want to be bang in the centre of woolcoombe and a stones throw from beach and town then you couldn't ask for a better spot. Facilities are basic but adaquate for essentials. My watch out would be around parking - as we found permits in the flat but ended up with a ticket still afyer using one...and even after catching thRead moree parking guy! It wasn't clear where they were valid for. Shame there's no outdoor space to chill but with the beach so close it didn't bother us. Hide

The only negative comment would be about parking. Yes, parking permits were provided but actually getting a space to park was impossible.
