Situated in a peaceful area on the outskirts of Brixham, this property is within easy reach of the town’s bustling harbour and array of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Enjoy coastal and woodland walks from the doorstep before stopping to sample this area’s celebrated freshly caught seafood. Brixham is home to an excellent line up of events and attractions throughout the year to ensure the whole family is entertained during your stay.

Approached through a set of gates, the property is fully enclosed making it the perfect choice for families. An entrance hall welcomes you into the barn and provides a useful space for hanging coats and storing boots and bags. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, bedside tables and plenty of storage space for making yourself at home. The second bedroom features two zip-and-link beds that can be made up as twin singles upon request at the time of booking. The bedrooms share access to the stylish ground floor bathroom with shower over bath and WC. On the first floor, the open-plan living area benefits from the best views of the house. Beautifully presented with exposed brickwork, solid wood flooring and a door opening onto a pretty Juliet balcony. This is a fantastic room for the whole family to enjoy together. After a long day exploring the local area on foot, relax and unwind on the comfortable seating to watch the Smart TV/DVD or play a game as the wood burner crackles away nearby. In a separate contemporary kitchen area with Velux window, there is an electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker, together with a dining table to seat four. There is also an iron and ironing board.

Outside there is a beautiful enclosed garden, bordered by mature plants and shrubs. Landscaped to provide shady seating areas, this is a tranquil area for enjoying long summer lunches and garden games.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

  • Private parking for 2 cars Brixham is busy fishing village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging. Many of the amenities and cottages in Brixham are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars.

Excellent accommodation, the off street parking which is gated was a huge bonus. The garden is secure so no worries if you have dogs. We Found Hazel very helpful and would not hesitate to book again.

A beautiful and well equipped cottage with lots of thoughtful touches like real coffee beans/machine, tea/coffee and Netflix. Living area is upstairs and very stylish and comfortable. Bedrooms and bathroom do not get the sun and so can feel a little damp particularly as the windows dont open very well for ventilation. Lovely little garden with off Read morestreet parking a big plus. Road is very quiet and stay was lovely and peaceful. It is about a 20 minute walk into town. Overall we had a lovely stay. Hide

Excellent accommodation, a home away from home with off street packing which is gated so completely private in a small village with limited parking this is a major plus point. Would definitely recommend and would use again. Brixham is a great base to visit this beautiful part of the country .

Beautifully appointed cottage especially upstairs in open plan living area. Bedrooms might prove a little small for four especially on a longer stay, but again comfortable and tastefully decorated. Lovely place. Very cosy. Great kitchen to cook in. Comfortable, clean and dog friendly. 5 mins walk to Brixham Harbour. Owner very helpful and responded very quickly to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this place.
