Beautiful Victorian cottage situated in the heart of the unspoilt village of Hartland with all amenities and spectacular walks close by and providing the ultimate relaxing retreat.

Nestling in the delightful village of Hartland and with all amenities within a short stroll this is an excellent place to be based. If it's surf and sea you’re after the seaside town of Westward Ho! is just a short drive away and boasts three miles of golden sandy beach making it the ultimate day out for the family. If you would rather relax on your Devon getaway then the pretty fishing village of Clovelly is a lovely place to spend an afternoon, and with its cobbled streets filled with shops and pubs you’ll easily while away an afternoon. Other attractions in the area include The Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep Adventure Park, RHS Garden Rosemoor, Hartland Abbey and many more.

Stepping into this beautiful Victorian cottage and through the door to the right you will find the fabulously light and comfortable lounge. Here is the perfect place to curl up after a busy day exploring and watch your favourite film on the TV/DVD, and there is even a wood burner effect electric fire for extra warmth and ambience. Next is the open-plan kitchen/diner which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, and a lovely original fire surround which is presented with a further wood burner effect fire. Located next to the kitchen is an undeniably useful separate utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and this provides the perfect place to store boots, coats and wet suits after a day out. Heading up to the first floor you will then discover the two pretty bedrooms, a spacious master king-size with TV/DVD and a cosy twin bedroom, both decorated in a relaxed contemporary country style. Completing the accommodation is a generously proportioned bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Heading outside further highlights await in the shape of a large enclosed, south-facing garden with a gravelled patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. This provides the perfect venue for dining alfresco on warm summers evenings, and further to this there is also an elevated lawn area, ideal for relaxing in the sun without having to venture to the beach.

The property also benefits from one private parking space 25 yards away.
