This remarkable coastal property has been fitted and furnished to a delightful standard, offering the perfect base for a family retreat with the beach within walking of your door step.

An idyllic coastal retreat accessed via its very own gated driveway is perfectly situated in an elevated position taking advantage of far reaching views over Bideford Bay, the Bristol Channel and towards Lundy Island. A short walk to the picturesque seaside village of Westward Ho!, known for its beautiful beach and unique pebble ridge which links to Northam Burrows Country Park. The beach offers lots of free entertainment for children whether it is looking in the rock pools, playing in the surf, building sand castles or flying kites. The village also has an array of restaurants, bars, shops, cafes, amusements and also a championship golf course. There is much to see and do in the area with attractions which include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way and Watermouth Castle.

Entering the property from the parking area down a number of external stairs and entering the property through the large enclosed rear garden where you are met by the spacious lounge area which allows you to pull back the bi folding doors and let the children roam free, from here you can also access the private hot tub with breath-taking views. This will allow you to enjoy a glass or two of bubbles whilst taking in those breath-taking views across the bay. If you decide to stay in and cook a meal there is a large dining room to cater for all as well as a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. You don’t even need to do the dishes as there is a dishwasher in the kitchen to do the work for you. From the hallway, which connects the kitchen and dining room, there is a sun-room which doubles up as a children’s game room, where after a fun filled day at the beach the children have their very own space to go and relax and enjoy a game or two on the Wii. Downstairs there is also a separate WC. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, a king-size with stunning views across the bay and its very own en-suite shower room with shower and WC, king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request), a double and a twin. You will also find the main bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

Venture outside you will find a large enclosed rear garden area with private hot tub. There is also a patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ located to the side of the property which has easy access to the kitchen, perfect for outside dining. Ample off-road parking is available in the gravelled parking area.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Excellent property The pros far out way the cons I would rate this property 90% Spotless clean Fab location Amazing views Layout was good Very quiet Friendly owner ... very helpful Not ideal for elderly people as very steep steps to the back door and steep walk back from town Minor niggles ... creaky floor boards Overall excellent

We had a wonderful holiday here with 4 adults, a baby and 3 dogs. The owner was friendly and helpful. The house and location was stunning. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub with the beautiful view. The house was very close to the beach and facilities.

The property is spacious and well laid out and has fantastic sea views overlooking the village. It is a short walk down a steep hill to the village which means very small children or elderly adults may struggle to walk back. The property is in a good location to explore North Devon.

This property has fantastic views across the bay, is clean, well equipped and comfortable. The walk down to Westward Ho would be challenging for less able people but we enjoyed the exercise.

This house is a lovely Place to stay with family plenty of room and well equipped. The views are stunning, we found the hot tub was very relaxing with a beautiful view of the beach.

Fantastic location and views overlooking the coast. Excellent accommodation very clean and tidy. Plenty of space for eight adults a child and a dog! Great hot tub which was well used. Nice touch to provide fresh scones, jam and clotted cream. Really enjoyable holiday.

The property is amazing, extremely clean and exceptionally well equipped. The location is stunning. We had a fabulous holiday and will definitely return. The scones, jam and cream were a wonderful surprise - jam on first of course!!

Beautiful home, very comfortable for a family celebration. Great location with stunning views. Everything we needed for a home from home break. Complimentary Prosecco cream tea was a lovely touch. Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful place, amazing location - that view is to die for! House is really clean and tidy and facilities are nice and modern and there is plenty of space, plus things for the kids as well which is hard to find and is really good to see. The hot tub is one of the best I've been in also. Owner is also a great guy. 10/10!
