Spacious country house, set in a private Scottish Estate, where the owners are resident in the main house.  Perfect for family gatherings and chic under the radar friends get together!  The fabulous two acre walled garden also makes it a great safe space for children and family pets, there is also a hot tub and outdoor massage cabana.  Within easy reach of the wonderful unspoilt sandy beaches and lively seaside town of Troon. A nirvana for all golf enthusiasts with the world famous championship courses close by including Royal Troon, Dundonald Turnberry, Prestwick and the Western Gailes.  Walkers, mountain bikers and cyclists are also well catered for with country trails, coastal paths and forestry tracks close at hand to explore. Enjoy a short ferry trip to the Isle of Arran, said to be Scotland in miniature, Isle Cumbrae and the Isle of Bute are also great to explore.  The newly restored HRH Prince of Wales Dumfries House and Gardens is less than 15 minutes drive away and set to become the Scottish equivalent of  the Highgrove Estate.   There are stables which provides scenic hacks around the Estate as well as riding lessons or if you would prefer a day out in the city, the vibrant city of Glasgow is just 30 minutes drive away and Edinburgh is reachable by car or train in just over an hour.

Enter the spacious, traditional single storey property from the hallway and through to the light and bright lounge with an open fire, perfect for cosy nights in with a TV, DVD, card table, books and games. Leading through from the lounge you are met with the bright conservatory, with dining table and chairs for cooler days to enjoy  the view over the lawns and the wonderful walled garden. Continuing through the spacious hallways you are met with the well-equipped kitchen, with Aga, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Continuing through from the kitchen you will also find the utility room, with washing machine and tumble dryer. Leading back out to the hallway next to the kitchen is the snug/games room, with PlayStation 3 and TV/DVD. Next to the snug/games room opposite the kitchen you will find the elegant dining room, which is perfect for a house party. Leading back through the hallway, you will find the beautiful spacious super-king-size bedroom, with TV, wonderful garden views and spacious en-suite bathroom, with hand-held shower over large bath and WC. Next you will find a delightful king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with en-suite shower and WC. Followed by another two super-king-size zip-and-links (which can be made into twins on request), with en-suite bathrooms, with hand-held shower over large bath and WC.  Then finally a double bedroom. You will also find a WC and cloakroom, next to the entrance hall.

Venturing outside to the fabulous mature, spacious private enclosed rear walled garden, perfect for a BBQ or to sit around the wood burning fire pit.  There is a large hot tub and patio area with garden furniture. Additional info: private hot tub charge £100 per week or £50 for a short break of up to 2 nights, £25 a night thereafter, payable directly to the owner. Massage and spa treatments are also available and should be booked prior to arrival with the owners, subject to availability.  Tennis court and fishing pond are also subject to availability, these are free of charge and again should be booked with the owners directly, if your stay depends on these activities please check availability before booking.  Ample private parking, directly in front of the property.

Enjoying an idyllic location on a private estate – with the owner's resident in the main house – this fabulous property is within easy reach of the splendid sandy beaches of the lively seaside town of Troon (12 miles). Troon is best known for its golf courses, but it also boasts some beautiful beaches, a delightful esplanade and a thriving harbour, with opportunities for yachting and windsurfing. The bustling town of Kilmarnock (7 miles) is the home of Dean Castle Country Park, the Burns Monument Centre and the New Laigh Kirk as well as a range of pubs, shops and restaurants. Riding lessons can be arranged on the estate which provides scenic hacks to explore the region. Golfers are spoilt for choice with the famous Royal Troon (11.5 miles), Dundonald (14 miles), Prestwick (11.5 miles) and Western Gailes (13.5 miles) courses all within easy reach. Walkers, mountain bikers, cyclists and nature-lovers will also find plenty to explore in this wonderful part of Ayrshire, with a range of country trails, coastal paths forestry tracks criss-crossing the area. Other attractions include Dumfries House (11.5 miles), Dundonald Castle (8.5 miles) and Eglington Country Park (15 miles). Its a beautiful family house to stay in - to us it was a little tired in places but a wonderful house with beautiful furniture in it and a superb kitchen to cook in - there was everything you could need on a holiday to cook some great meals together and eat in the Dining Room. We had a great week here - the children loved the outdoor spaces on the Read moreestate and the Giant Chess Set . Round about the area it was very beautiful- we were lucky with great weather which always helps. Hide

Beautiful house in fantastic gardens and grounds. The owners and staff were extremely attentive and helpful. We got to visit their farm and learn about dairy farming. The house is well stocked and the owners leave very generous starter packs. We will be back.

Well where do I start on such a great cottage. Lovely property, so very well equipped everywhere: Kitchen (better equipment than I have), Bathrooms so clean, beautiful dining room and lounge, and a conservatory with games for the children. The hot tub is a must, very clean and great to use both in the dark or when it is cold. The children played saRead morefely in the garden, cannot wait until our next booking. The House is the perfect accommodation for a special family gathering. We, 9 adults, 2 young children plus dog, had that pleasure over Christmas week. The extremely comfortable and spacious house with it's roaring log fire afforded adults and small children alike the opportunity to "do their thing." Lovely property in middle of very large estate, relaxing surroundings and the Garden house was very comfortable for a large group as we still had our own space.hot tub was great.
