Within easy reach of the wonderful unspoilt sandy beaches and lively seaside town of Troon. A nirvana for all golf enthusiasts with the world famous championship courses close by including Royal Troon, Dundonald Turnberry, Prestwick and the Western Gailes. Walkers, mountain bikers and cyclists are also well catered for with country trails, coastal paths and forestry tracks close at hand to explore. Enjoy a short ferry trip to the Isle of Arran, said to be Scotland in miniature, Isle Cumbrae and the Isle of Bute are also great to explore. The newly restored HRH Prince of Wales Dumfries House and Gardens is less than 15 minutes drive away and set to become the Scottish equivalent of the Highgrove Estate. There are stables which provides scenic hacks around the Estate as well as riding lessons or if you would prefer a day out in the city, the vibrant city of Glasgow is just 30 minutes drive away and Edinburgh is reachable by car or train in just over an hour.
Enter the spacious, traditional single storey property from the hallway and through to the light and bright lounge with an open fire, perfect for cosy nights in with a TV, DVD, card table, books and games. Leading through from the lounge you are met with the bright conservatory, with dining table and chairs for cooler days to enjoy the view over the lawns and the wonderful walled garden. Continuing through the spacious hallways you are met with the well-equipped kitchen, with Aga, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Continuing through from the kitchen you will also find the utility room, with washing machine and tumble dryer. Leading back out to the hallway next to the kitchen is the snug/games room, with PlayStation 3 and TV/DVD. Next to the snug/games room opposite the kitchen you will find the elegant dining room, which is perfect for a house party. Leading back through the hallway, you will find the beautiful spacious super-king-size bedroom, with TV, wonderful garden views and spacious en-suite bathroom, with hand-held shower over large bath and WC. Next you will find a delightful king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with en-suite shower and WC. Followed by another two super-king-size zip-and-links (which can be made into twins on request), with en-suite bathrooms, with hand-held shower over large bath and WC. Then finally a double bedroom. Venturing outside to the fabulous mature, spacious private enclosed rear walled garden, perfect for a BBQ or to sit around the wood burning fire pit. There is a large hot tub and patio area with garden furniture. Additional info: private hot tub charge £100 per week or £50 for a short break of up to 2 nights, £25 a night thereafter, payable directly to the owner. Massage and spa treatments are also available and should be booked prior to arrival with the owners, subject to availability. Tennis court and fishing pond are also subject to availability, these are free of charge and again should be booked with the owners directly, if your stay depends on these activities please check availability before booking. Ample private parking, directly in front of the property.
