One of two cottages, boasting impressive open-plan living accommodation, this rural holiday property is perfect for getting away from it all. Close to Taunton and the North Somerset Coast.

Located in a tranquil position in the grounds of the owner’s impressive 17th century farmhouse and 300 acre working dairy farm, this property is perfect for guests in search of some peace and quiet. Walkers, cyclists and horse riders alike will be spoilt for choice between the Quantock and Blackdown Hills Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, while the local pub is a popular choice for those wishing to stay closer to home. Other nearby attractions include Oake Manor Gold Club, The West Somerset Railway, Taunton Racecourse and an array of National Trust properties and gardens.

On the ground floor, an impressive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner features an exposed brick wall, exposed beams and bi-folding doors opening onto the courtyard. Prepare meals in the contemporary kitchen, which contains an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, before dining at the large table overlooking the courtyard. At the end of a long day, the cosy lounge area features Sky TV, a DVD player and iPod dock. A cupboard in the hallway houses the washing machine and tumble dryer for those wishing to do laundry during their stay. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom with a TV, patio door to the courtyard and en-suite shower room with WC. On the first floor you will find two further double bedrooms, both with TVs and contemporary en-suite shower or bathrooms. All bedrooms are light and airy and feature zip-and-link beds, which can be made into twins on request. Outside, the private enclosed courtyard with garden furniture offers a sunny spot for a family BBQ or relaxing evening in the hot tub. There is a separate lawn area to the side of the house that offers a perfect play area for children and dogs alike.

We had a fabulous stay. The house was very clean, well-equipped and comfortable, with lots of welcoming touches and the best hot tub weve ever experienced. Lovely rural location, with walks from the door, and the coast and areas of outstanding natural beauty all within reach by car.

The cottage stands in a beautiful picturesque setting. The cottage is well equipped if you decide to eat in and quite local for a few takeaway venues. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the luxury of the hot tub in the evening. The complimentary scones and milk were a very welcome on our arrival. Thank you for a lovely break!

Lovely place to stay . Loved the underfloor heating in the kitchen diner. Everything you need for a holiday. Kids loved the hot tub . The TV is bigger then looks in the pictures . Great enclosed garden for two beagles , felt like I could relax & not worry where they were . Definitely will be back . Probably one of the best places we have stayed

This was a surprise 50th birthday get away for my other half with our friends and 2 little dogs. The cottage was lovely, very clean and warm, lovely views and fresh milk from there cow on there dairy farm was yummy, thank you Daisy moo!. The hot tub was so nice and relaxing, we even used it in the rain lol The dogs were safe in the garden. Lots of Read morelovely walks as soon as you step out of the front door. Beautiful secluded cottage, excellent facilities. We were able to totally relax, especially with hot tub. Fabulous pub The Orchard Inn within walking distance, delicious Sunday lunch and lovely dog friendly folk. Wont hesitate to return!

We had an amazing break at The View. It was modern, spacious, clean, and the personal touches (such as the scones and the fresh milk) were lovely. The hot tub was perfect for the whole group, and the outdoor patio area and BBQ were a great addition, and it felt very private. The bedrooms were a good size and all came with an en-suite. We had a lovely holiday, the owners have thought of everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable. It was a good location to drive out to walks with the dogs, and the humans appreciated the soak in the hot tub when we returned.

This is a great cottage, three large (super king/twin) beds, all with en-suite bathrooms, and an extra loo downstairs. Lovely and peaceful, beautiful outlook on to the fields. Ideally situated so you can visit Devon as well as Somerset. Comfortable and very well equipped. We had a great week away, quiet, dog friendly & yet close enough to be able to go off & do something each day. Great to be welcomed with fresh milk from the farm & a cream tea. The Barn was lovely and beautiful location in the country. The Barn was very well equipped and comfortable. Attention to detail was great and the home made scones were lovely. We stayed her for 4 nights and can't recommend it enough. The location is beautiful the views are lovely over all the country side. The owners live next door so are on hand if you need them, we needed an emergency vet appointment an they recommend who to go to in minutes of txt them. Cottage was wonderful, had everything for our mini break. Comfortable, warm and hot tub was amazing. Owner left us some lovely homemade scones and fresh milk from the farm all of which was lovely. Got shown round the working farm which was very interesting.

This is a well equipped property, perfect for exploring Somerset. The 3 bedrooms are all en-suite which is great for 3 couples and the zip- link beds make very comfortable super- kings. The property is secluded and very quiet, the hot tub and enclosed garden make it all very relaxing. Its dog friendly with some lovely walks nearby. We had a lovely break at this property. We took our 2 children and 2 dogs. Everything was immaculate and comfortable. We would definately recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet retreat. Hot tub is a fantastic bonus and was well used by the children.

The property is off the beaten track, a beautiful house with all the amenities youd need, a great place for our walking holiday, a stones throw from the quantock hills with amazing walks. This was our second time at Blagroves which is a lovely cottage on a working dairy farm view are lovely and plenty of walks, although the owners are closeby they are not intrusive, even though you are on a farm there is no noise, the hot tub is definitely an added bonus. Can't wait to return
