Really lovely place: quirky, attractive, well equipped, we enjoyed the tennis court in particular also the hot tub, games room, the pianos, the fire. The owners were very helpful and welcoming indeed. We have stayed in a lot of summer cottages and this was by far the best one. Very dog friendly. All round fantastic. Strongly recommend it.

Warm welcome from the lovely hosts to this very quirky almost magical cottage, which had lots of homely touches. Beautiful in autumn and I imagine in all seasons. We had the best of both worlds - sunny for tennis and chilly enough to enjoy the garden hot tub and indoors the open fire. Lots of fun in the games room and a fantastic walk to Symonds YaRead moret Rock. Hosts were on site to help if needed but it felt very private. Fabulous weekend enjoyed by a group of 9 Hide

The Bull Pen is a wonderful quirky cosy cottage. Plenty of room for our party of 6 adults, 4 children and 2 big dogs. The snooker room was a bonus we didnt expect and made good use of. The owners Louise and Frank are a charming couple and very helpful, without invading our privacy. Highly recommend this cottage.
