For visitors who want to enjoy the area’s unique landscape from a more leisurely perspective, there are many miles of scenic lakeside walks to be enjoyed, as well as relaxing cruises on the lake, perhaps stopping for lunch at Ambleside or Bowness.
The front door of this single storey property leads into a light and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a contemporary kitchen. The lounge area has comfy luxurious sofas, wood burner, vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and large floor to ceiling picture windows. The dining area has seating for four, whilst the bright kitchen area offers everything that guests will need to prepare their favourite meals, including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. The cottage has its own music control pads and Bluetooth technology, with integral sound systems and widescreen TV. Up one step into the master bedroom with a double bed and en-suite shower and WC. The second bedroom has a king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made into a 2ft6 twin on request) and en-suite with monsoon shower and WC.
Outside the property is a partially covered patio with garden furniture. There is also an outside shared garden, with three acres of gardens, including an unfenced large pond, which is home to wild ducks, frogs and newts, as well as water-lilies and gunnera. Off-road parking for two cars is available
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
