Due to COVid no field walking available, so limited walks. Also unfortunately too many flies. Lovely looking at horses all day.

The cottage was very nice & comfortable with everything we needed, nice & quiet on a working farm. Lots of walks for the dog. The only problem we had was the amount of flys so we couldnt have the door open, but I suppose you should expect that on a farm

Ideal holiday if you want a rural location on a farm. Lovely to see the horses go by every day when they were taken to the field. Lovely to see stable girls when they took the horses to the field, making a fuss of them and not leaving them right away.

Bridge a Cottage was pleasant and well equipped. Its ideal if you dont mind driving, as the nearest pub - The Elms is a few miles away. It is about 4 miles from Weymouth and a taxi is about 12 each way to the harbour, where all the restaurants are. Most taxis take well behaved dogs, so that was good for us. We had fabulous weather, so were able to Read morehave a bbq in the garden and dry our beach towels on the line, as well as stock up on ice lollies in the freezer. A nice cottage in a quiet area. A well presented small cottage situated on a farm. You will be woken by a cockerel and cows early, but for us that was part of the experience. There were a fair few cobwebs in the frame of the eaves and we had a few beetles crawl in the lounge. We have a hybrid car and it would have been good to see details of the extra cost before booking as this Read morewas only in the FAQ's which we didn't need to look at and were told we had to pay more once there. Bridge Cottage was great for us as we have a daughter in a wheelchair and a puppy. The bathroom with shower is right by the door so ideal for showering off the pup after the beach and sea. Very well equipped kitchen.
