This remarkable property which is situated close to Brixham’s town centre has been fitted and furnished to a delightful standard throughout, offering the perfect bolthole for a family retreat.

Located in the English Riviera town of Brixham and just a short walk from the harbour. The town has a long-standing maritime history and the harbour remains the heart of it and offers visitors a choice of boat trips, from relaxing tours of Torbay, accompanied fishing trips and a regular service across the bay to the resort town of Torquay. There is plenty to see and do, from beaches and restaurants and even a fascinating replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship The Golden Hind. Further afield, the towns of Paignton and Torquay are also popular destinations with visitors and other attractions include the golden sandy beaches, a zoo, an aquarium and a wonderful steam railway which runs through the Dart Valley.

On entering the property, the hallway is the perfect place to kick off your shoes and hang your coats. Following on through the property on the ground floor you will find the open-plan kitchen/diner/snug area. The kitchen consists of a gas range oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. You will also find here the laundry room which consists of a washing machine and tumble dryer. A separate WC is situated just off the kitchen area. The dining area offers comfortable seating for everyone, perfect for a celebratory meal. The snug is a great space to catch up with friends and family over a glass of wine after a long day down by the harbour, with comfy seating area and open fire. Heading on up to the first floor where you with find the cosy lounge with Smart TV, a sound bar and Sky TV (basic package) perfect for catching up on your favourite TV programmes after a busy day, next you will find the double bedroom and bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Heading on up to the second floor you will find a king-size bedroom and a twin zip-and-link (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request). Completing the accommodation is a shower room with shower and WC.

Venture outside to the beautiful rear garden, which offers garden furniture and charcoal Pizza oven BBQ. Roadside parking is available to the front of the property and the next street behind (subject to availability), alternatively, there are long stay public car parks located nearby and a parking permit can be purchased from the local council

  • There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Brixham do not have private parking. However, alternative parking is available in local car parks.

Enjoyed the spacious accommodation of Briseham for a few days and loved it. Great place and nice area to stay. As long as you are fit as there are plenty of steps to manage in and out of the house!!
