Its near a local station and we went to Harlech (it does eventually go to Birmingham)! Its in walking distance of PortmeIrion - we had lunch at the castle restaurant and went into Portmeirion for free. I think customers need a good level of fitness as there are steep streets and hills all around

lovely clean cottage . great views from the cottage and all home comforts . however the parking posed a problem for us due to being quite a climb up a steep path. However if your young and fit no problems . There were shops in the town and one pub but not really walking distance unless you are an experience walker.

We loved this homely cottage, the view and all the interesting objects and pictures. It was well equipped with a handy supermarket and plenty of attractions within an hour's drive or less. Access is up a steep hill, but we used the free car park at the bottom of the hill and only drove up to load and unload. Parking is not possible right outside thRead moree property, but the quality of the cottage outweighed this inconvenience. Hide

Great location near to shops, mountains and beaches with a terrific view over the hills from the balcony. We really liked this place. Thoughtfully furnished. Loved the record player as an alternative to TV in evenings. Stairs are steep but got used to them. Neighbours are nice too.

A cosy retreat, well equipped, with many interesting places to visit locally. Everything we needed for a week away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Can recommend the local butchers too!!

Lovely cosey property with great views, ideally located for Portmeirion, Porthmadog, Snowdonia National Park, and Barmouth. Set over three levels, the narrow stairs to the kitchen may not be everyones cup of tea, and car parking was not as easy as the welcome instructions would have you believe, but this may have been because it was a bank holiday Read moreweekend.
