A lovely location and could be a real great property. However we found the place not particularly clean, and overall attention to detail not great given what the week cost us - wifi didn't work all week, sinks blocked on arrival, toilet rocked like a seesaw. Didnt see any issues with the lanes as mentioned previously.

Nice property with good equipment anyone who likes TV good size screens. Large garden if you have dogs it does need a better fence between the garden next door. The cottage is amazing, very well equipped total home from home not once did it feel like a holiday cottage. The lanes to get to it are a bit hairy but once there it is simply fabulous. Could not fault and would definitely return.

You do get the wow factor when you walk in the door and it looks very clean . Unfortunately this was not the case because when we took our shoes off, our socks were covered in white dog hairs. Seems like the cleaners were more concerned about covid19 cleaning rather than hoovering. There was also dog saliva on the windows. The shower does not drainRead more very well and needs unblocking. On the plus side, the bed and bedding was spotless. The location isn't ideal either, lanes are a nightmare. Hide

We have just returned from two weeks at this cottage and it was an absolute joy. So well equipped and everything such great quality. There was plenty of space, both inside and outside so that whatever the weather humans and dogs had a great time. We will return!

Absolutely stunning converted barn...home from home. The grounds are completely dog proof (unless you have a very small one). Really happy that my pooches were happy and could wander/run around like loons all day The narrow roads to the barn are very narrow!! My wife and I had a lovely Autumn break in this property. It's in a quiet and remote location, though only about 10 minutes from Barnstaple, brilliant for exploring north devon as you can get to lots of places in 30 minutes. Pyne arms 15 minutes away does excellent food. The bedroom is wonderful and the layout overall 'lets the outside in' giving iRead moret a relaxing feel. Wifi could be better, fire stick for tv helped. We look forward to returning. Hide

Lovely property but be careful if you have small dogs as they could get under, through or around the side of the entrance gates and onto the road. Also, driving on very narrow country lanes is required to get to the property - so confident drivers only.

Very rural location, which is lovely once you get there! Bit hairy driving the three miles along narrow country lanes to get to it though, particularly when dark and stormy and when meeting tractors. Excellent dog walking right on the doorstep and of course three fabulous beaches are not far away either, two of which have extensive dog walking areaRead mores. Braunton has everything you would need foodwise. Excellent pub, The Thatch, at Croyde allows dogs. Highly recommend this cottage. Hide

Nice wow factor when walking into the property but alas that was soon forgotten when we had to learn how to work any of the appliances as there was no instructions. Even turning on lamps was a mystery as the switch for them was on the opposite side of the room. Outside scruffy and unfinished. Shame as it could be so much better.

The cottage is gorgeous and has been one of my favourite visits to Devon. The property is relaxing, we watched plenty of Netflix and that bath is to die for! Great for the dog to have a run around, we didn't explore many walking paths as we were not 100% sure where they were. There were a couple of extras we wished would have been included, such asRead more hand soap etc and we did struggle with the wifi many evenings, but overall would deffo recommend! Hide

Beautiful very spacious new barn conversion in a very rural location. I loved the bath and Ive never stayed in a holiday cottage with such a high standard of kitchen equipment. Great for the dog but be aware cottage next door is also dog friendly and only stock fence between the gardens.
