This delightful cottage is set in the heart of Llanrhidian, a picture-perfect village, with pubs and shop. The property is also within walking distance to the Wales Coast Path and the magnificent salt water wetlands of the Loughor estuary. Make a visit to Weobly Castle, a 14th century fortified manor overlooking the village, which is open to the public. A short drive to the bays at Oxwich, Port Eynon and Rhossili, all worth a visit. The Gower Heritage Centre, a museum built around a 12th century watermill is a lovely day out or enjoy some retail therapy in the city which is just a short drive away.
Enter the property into a useful boot room, where you can kick off your boots and hang up your coat, then head through to the contemporary kitchen/diner. There is a beautiful electric Aga for winter months, electric oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The dining area is a great spot to sit an enjoy your breakfast with fabulous bi-fold doors leading to outside. Through to the characterful lounge with a warming wood burner set in a stone fire place, beamed ceiling and TV/DVD, the ideal room to relax and unwind after a day exploring the coast. Stairs from the kitchen lead up to the first floor where you will find the two bedrooms. The first is a king-size with original wooden floorboards and lovely views from both aspects. The second bedroom has a single bed with additional single pull-out bed. Along the landing is the bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. A further flight of stairs lead up to the second floor with a pretty double bedroom, please note there is restricted height in this room.
Heading outside there is a suntrap courtyard which is accessed from the kitchen, with garden furniture and washing line making this a great spot for al fresco dining. There is off-road parking in front of the property for one car.
