Beautiful cosy cottage in a great location. The grounds are beautiful and so is the surrounding countryside. There are lots of amazing books and guides in the cottage of walks and places to go in the Tamar Valley and Dartmoor. Great for the dogs as there is a secure field to run them in first thing in the morning.

We had an excellent week away from it all in this idyllic cottage. We enjoyed training our three dogs in the open field, and exploring the wooded valley, even had a picnic down by the stream. Spent some time wondering round Tavistock market town, and eating out in local pubs. It was always nice to return to the cosy cottage. Dorian shared her localRead more knowledge of the area, and was most helpful, even giving us a guide round part of the woodland. You can't help but feel at home... Hide

The cottage was lovely and we couldn't fault anything. Plenty of cupboard space and well equipped. The covered patio gives extra dining space too and we had quite a few meals out there as the weather was so warm.
