Visit the World Heritage site of Hadrian’s Wall, the largest Roman monument in Europe. The beautiful unspoilt Northumberland coastline with splendid sandy beaches to explore, including Bamburgh and Lindisfarne with their magnificent castles, are all within touring distance.
