This is the perfect spot if you love outdoors activities. We had two dogs with us and found plenty of long walks in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. In four days we didn't need to drive further than 15 minutes for most trips. Lovely dog friendly pub within a couple of minutes walk. Have just rebooked for half term

Such a well equipped cottage with a lovely homely feel. Loved sitting in the garden at dusk watching owls an bats flying overhead and stargazing. Beds, towels, bowls and treats a luxury added for our two dogs. The area is well positioned for exploring the forest and surrounding areas. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely and deceptively spacious semi detached cottage with a large un over looked garden ( Bar the church next door ) Lots of extras left for you to ease the worry or issue of forgetting things.... Books games and a log burner should the need arise. The only downside is parking.. would have preferred a space in front of the cottage off road but endRead moreed up parking in the street... Not a deal breaker.. The Miners country inn a short walk ... well recommended ( The BEST Burger i have ever had ) Hide

The cottage was lovely, with a fabulous kitchen, warm log burner and great shower. The location was peaceful and ideal for access to local attractions and for walking in the Forest of Dean. Myself, my adult children and their partners had a very relaxing weekend. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a break from hectic lives.
