Property code: BX085

This period property has been carefully refurbished to offer a stylish blend of contemporary conveniences with original charm and features.

Situated in an area just tucked away from Brixham harbour, this property is within easy reach of everything this bustling fishing town has to offer. Amongst colourful fishermen’s houses that line the harbour you will find a charming array of independent shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and galleries. The harbour itself boasts one of the largest fishing fleets in the UK together with a thriving fish market for stocking up for your stay.

On the ground floor, a spacious lounge with decorative ceiling cornicing, original feature fireplace, an elegant chandelier and array of stylish sofas is light and bright thanks to the large bay window to the front of the house. With a TV, DVD player and music player with Bluetooth connection, this is a tranquil space for unwinding after a long day. The lounge connects to a formal dining room via a large archway, which boasts a further feature fireplace and stained wooden flooring. The kitchen is contemporary and spacious, with plenty of workspace for everyone to lend a hand. Here you will find an electric induction hob, built-in electric oven and grill, dishwasher, under-counter fridge, freezer and microwave. For breakfasts and light meals, a table with seating for four offers an alternative dining space. There is a separate utility room to house the washing machine, iron and ironing board, together with a separate WC. A games room boasts a full-size football table, perfect for those with a competitive streak. On the first floor, the master bedroom boasts a magnificent four-poster bed, which offers wonderful views down to the bay, together with a chest of drawers, bedside tables and clothes hanging space. Also on this floor is a sunny twin bedroom that’s perfect for children, together with a separate WC and luxurious family bathroom complete with roll-top bath and separate shower. On the second floor, there is a large attic king-size bedroom, which features wooden flooring, a pretty dressing table and wonderful views through dual aspect windows.

Please note the rear terrace is accessed via steep steps in common with many Brixham properties that are built into the hillside. This may not suit all, however the front terrace was refurbished in 2018 and provides seating with an open sea view and maintains separation from the footpath by virtue of being raised a few feet.

The back garden boasts a decked area that acts as a suntrap and the front terrace also provides seating raised up and away from the road more conveniently for those not wanting to climb the rear steps.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Beautiful property, plenty of room for everyone. Very steep steps to the rear decking but worth it for the view! Parking is limited but personally we had no problem finding space for our van and the car right outside the front door. Plenty of other spaces in nearby streets. Would love to stay here again

Ciao Bella is a very attractive and comfortable property with beautiful views and easy access to harbour, beach and shops. Parking is difficult in immediate proximity, but can be found quite easily on roads nearby.

The house was clean, welcoming and comfortable. It had everything we needed to make it a real home from home. The location was perfect, with plenty of lovely places to eat and drink within walking distance.

Our family spent a lovely week at Ciao Bella. The property is roomy however there is only one bathroom and a small cloakroom and so with 6 adults staying, an ensuite in maybe the top level bedroom would be useful. We enjoyed sitting outside the front of the property however the rear deck was not suitable with access via very steep steps. As previouRead moresly mentioned parking was a major issue and we had to park streets away which is difficult when unloading and loading car. Hide

We have had a lovely family weekend in Brixham - 6 adults plus a small dog enjoyed a lovely comfortable home which was conveniently situated for easy access to the town, harbour and beach. We would certainly like to stay at Ciao Bella again one day.

The house is in a lovely location with fantastic views and is beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, due to the location, parking is a real problem. We had to unload on double yellow lines and then it took over 40 minutes to find a parking space, all roads that were suggested were full and in the end we had to park a long way from the house. It meanRead moret that we really had to think about whether we needed to use the car. On the plus side, we walked everywhere and found some lovely places in Brixham. Hide

We could not have chosen anything better for our first trip to the English Riviera. Very good location, close to the harbour, well chosen furniture and decoration, lots of space; we had a great time at Ciao Bella. Torsten from Germany

Beautiful house, great location. Plenty of space for two teenagers to have their own space, as well as parents. Not ideal for young children or elderly as there are alot of stairs. Nice to park car and use ferries to visit places, brixham has a relaxing and friendly atmosphere, would definitely go back again.

The cottage is in a great location, having easy access to the town and south west coastal path for walkers or dog owners. The outside seating areas were really welcome as we were fortunate with the weather. Would recommend this cottage.

We were lucky enough to be there for the Torbay Air Show which we could see from the decking at the back garden. Only downsidRead moree was trying to get a parking space outside the house.
