Located on the scenic grounds on the owner’s estate, this former stable block and now a stylish studio apartment is the perfect bolthole for a couple to celebrate any occasion and is ideally located to explore both coast and countryside

Ideal for a couple this studio apartment is well placed for you to enjoy the best that Essex has to offer including some stunning countryside and it’s also within easy reach of the coast. Situated on the fringes of the Dedham Vale Natural Area of Outstanding Beauty, you have some absolute stunning walks on your door-step for both you and for your furry friends. A little further afield are The National Trust properties of Paycocke’s House and Gardens at Coggeshall and Bourne Mill at Colchester and are both within a forty-minute drive. Some other fantastic days out can be had out the famous Colchester Zoo or the Seaquarium on Clacton-on-Sea’s pier, both located just under fifteen miles away and if you love nature and spotting new types of wildlife, then Hamford Water Nature reserve is also just under fifteen miles away.

Guests enter the property by the front door and you arrive in an open-plan living area. The lounge area has a large sofa and as well as a large screen television which is mounted on the wall. Should you wish to dine in and relax then there is a coffee table which can be converted into a dining table in the lounge area. Having double patio doors leading outside. The kitchen area has a small combination microwave oven and one pan induction hob, fridge with ice compartment . The bedroom has a king-size bed with ample built in wardrobe and storage space and next along which completes the layout is the shower room which also has a WC.

There is no enclosed garden area, but a communal patio area to the rear of the property which does have a table and chairs should you wish to soak up some sun. There is a small patio area with a bistro table and chairs overlooking the  communal green area to the front of the property, perfect should you wish to enjoy your morning coffee and have a stroll before heading out for a fun filled day. There is off road parking for one car to the rear of the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The property is stylish, clean, warm and quiet. Small kitchen and cooking facilities limited if you intend to eat in every night. However this is more than compensated by the very comfortable bed, excellent shower good heating, loads of storage. When we had an issue with the WiFi the owner was responsive and all was resolved immediately. This is a fabulous Stable Conversion which was perfect for a couple and a dog (who absolutely loved the underfloor heating!) It was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The owner kindly left biscuits, fresh milk, tea and coffee, which we really appreciated. The accommodation is in a perfect location to explore the Read morecoastline, cities like Ipswich and the fabulous Dedham Vale and Flatford Mill. with a brilliant 10 mile walk starting at Manningtree Train Station.
