Nestling amidst stunning lakes and an abundance of wildlife, this lovely lodge provides great base from which to explore North Devon and Cornwall and is just a short drive from the coast.
Located just outside the unique fishing village of Clovelly, these lodges are ideally situated to explore both the North Cornish and the North Devon Coastlines. Only a short drive from the market town of Bideford with a retail park, pubs and restaurants, and the famous pannier market. Westward Ho! is close by with its two mile stretch of sandy beaches, arcades and independent eateries. Bude is slightly further afield, although still an easy drive with several sandy beaches, golf course, canal-side artisan cafes, surf shops, a local history museum and art gallery. Other attractions such as The Milky Way, The Big Sheep Adventure Park, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor, Hartland Abbey and Hartland Quay are also within easy reach.
Set directly on the water’s edge of the lower lake this beautiful lodge is accessed via two steps on a large balcony. Step into the large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and here you will find a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine. The lounge is comfortably furnished with contemporary sofas and elegant soft furnishings, and the perfect place to relax in front of the TV with a glass of your favourite tipple. A door through to the hallway leads to three bedrooms: two double bedrooms, one with views of the lake, and a bunk bedroom which also overlooks the water. Completing the accommodation is a bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and WC, and a shower room with WC.
Heading outside through the double doors is a generously proportioned balcony on which you can enjoy al fresco dining. Alternatively experience a barbeque right on the water’s edge, and afterwards watch the sun go down with superb views of the lake.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
