Perfectly situated just a short drive from the coast and amidst stunning lakes and an abundance of wildlife, this lovely lodge provides great base from which to explore North Devon and Cornwall.

A superb holiday location in rural North Devon, set in acres of unspoilt countryside, which hosts an abundance of wildlife such as badgers, foxes, rabbits and many types of birds. The six lakes lying within forty acres are stocked with carp, roach, rudd, tench, bream and perch, offering a fine sport for the angler. There is a wide choice of beaches nearby, including Bude, Westward Ho! and the sandy dunes of Instow. Just down the road is the unique fishing village of Clovelly, with its steep cobbled streets and quaint harbour. More local attractions are available such as The Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep, and Dartington Crystal.

Nestled in a private corner and set back from the lakes, this romantic retreat can be accessed via three steps or a ramp. Step into the cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you will find a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box and a dishwasher. The lounge provides the perfect place to relax and snuggle up in front of the TV. A door from the kitchen leads to the double bedroom an en-suite shower room with WC. Heading outside, relax on the balcony and enjoy alfresco dining or step down to the lawn area with a brick-built BBQ.

Alternatively, take a stroll down to the lake which is only thirty metres away.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Had a great stay. Villa was lovely and ideal for my girlfriend and me. Found it to be a good location and base while able to visit many places either on our bikes or car. Would recommend to a friend and would certainly stay again.

It was a lovely lodge and had everything we needed. It was a very quiet location which was nice. Fishing in the lakes wasnt as plentiful as we would have liked but fishing was still restful.
