There are plenty of attractions to suit all tastes including the seaside town of Bude, Splashpool, Launceston Steam Railway, The Big Sheep, Port Isaac, St Agnes, Tehidy Country Park, The Milky Way and Tintagel. Some lovely walks, direct from the cottage, take you through fields and woodland with commanding views over the Iron Age Fort remains, open countryside and to the sea beyond. Retaining much of its original character and features dating back centuries, it’s a great holiday retreat.

On entering this charming property you will find yourself in the traditional lounge and dining area. This delightful room retains certain original features including exposed beams, flagstone slate flooring and an inglenook fireplace with a cosy wood burner you can snuggle in front of. The room also includes more modern amenities including a TV, DVD and CD/radio. There is a charming dining area, ideal whether you’re sitting down to a big meal or grabbing a quick breakfast. Through the kitchen there is also a handy utility area with WC, washing machine and tumble dryer. Exploring the cottage further you will find two bedrooms on the ground floor which are both accessed by two steps up from the hallway; one double with a TV/DVD, and one single. Heading back down the two steps there is also a ground floor bathroom, complete with shower over bath and WC. Moving upstairs via the steep cottage style stairs you will find an airy double bedroom with exposed beams and its own dressing room.

Stepping outside from the kitchen, you can relax in the pretty enclosed raised rear garden with patio area and seating. There is also a useful small storage area which can be used to house beach equipment. Roadside parking is available outside the property or at the rear of the property.

We had such a lovely break away at this cottage. It was incredibly comfortable, well equipped and perfect for spending time with the family. The garden was excellent for games and the dog loved it! The location was great and Widemouth Bay, Boscastle, Tintagel and Bude are all a must see. I would definitely recommend it and hope to stay here again.
