Beautiful former farmhouse set in stunning countryside, ideally located to explore the whole of Cornwall.

This traditionally styled stone former farmhouse is set within 150 acres of captivating pastureland grazed by cattle and surrounded by woodland. Set 100 metres from the main road, the property is accessed via a shared private driveway and sleeps up to six people in cosy and secluded accommodation. You’ll enjoy spacious living areas and relaxing outdoor spaces, all within easy reach of Cornwall’s popular attractions including Tamar Otter Park and Launceston Steam Railway.

Upon approaching the cottage you’ll notice its stunning leafy backdrop and traditional stone exterior. You’ll feel the warming ambience as soon as you enter and enjoy a cosy lounge area with feature fireplace and wood burner for toasty nights in. This area also offers Smart TV and DVD for entertainment. The traditionally styled kitchen/diner with a slate floor offers a spacious area to prepare and enjoy home cooked meals. It is equipped with a range cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave and the dining area offers a farmhouse style table and chairs. Just off the kitchen, the utility room includes a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience, there is also a separate WC. Moving upstairs, you’ll find three light and airy bedrooms including one double with en-suite shower room and WC, one twin and one adult bunk room. The bathroom is also on this floor and offers a shower over bath and WC.

The cottage enjoys an enclosed courtyard area which can be accessed from the back door. In addition there is plenty of tranquil outside space and access to large gardens with seating and a BBQ to enjoy al fresco dining. If you want to play a spot of badminton, there is a net, racket and shuttlecocks available for use. The property also provides ample off-road parking.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Beautiful spacious cottage situated on a working dairy farm. The hosts, and their dog Walter, were lovely but not intrusive. Everything you could want or need was there. The beds were very comfortable. There is a large garden complete with badminton net, tables & chairs. There is also a large utility/boot room on entering the cottage - perfect for Read morewet days. Really comfortable and would not hesitate to return. Perfect location for visiting a variety of attractions. Hide

We have found a little piece of heaven at Launceston in Coombegate. The holiday cottage was excellent and the facilities were superb, I cannot fault anything. If you want a central relaxing place to stay in Cornwall then this is it!

Lovely reception and a beautiful Christmas Hamper with local produce on arrival. Christmas was a peaceful family event staying at the cottage which had lovely decorations and real Christmas tree. Great efforts were made to make us feel welcome.

Lovely spacious farmhouse with large enclosed garden and plenty of parking. Easily reached from the main road yet private and secluded location. A perfect stay for a relaxing holiday.

The cottage is comfortable and in wonderful farmland which the owner was more than happy for us to explore (bearing in mind the cattle on site!). We were 20 mins away from the delightful beaches of North Devon and there were plenty of things do see and visit in the locality (Otter sanctuary, Charlie Bears, Jo Downs glass, to name but a few).
