An excellent choice for the adventurous, the local area offers a wealth of footpaths and cycle routes as well as caving, abseiling, canoeing and even high wire rope courses. Inside, the accommodation is warm and welcoming with exposed beams and stonework. Prepare romantic meals for two in the shaker style kitchen, which contains an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. Stone steps lead down to the lounge/diner where there is a small table and chairs for enjoying meals beside the woodburner, which sits in a large inglenook fireplace. Afterwards, take your pick from the choice of comfortable sofas and chairs and enjoy a relaxing evening in front of the TV/DVD. The double bedroom is spacious and bright with oak furniture, wooden flooring and an exposed ceiling beam. There is a bathroom with shower over bath on the ground floor.

To the front of the property you will find a pretty walled garden with garden furniture on a patio area and a good-sized lawn beyond, perfect for dogs.

Very cosy, comfortable cottage. Just off the main road so access to other locations from that are easy. Front garden very sweet but weather did not permit us to sit in it - what can you expect in October?

Clean and comfortable cottage. Good value for money. Wi-Fi a bit slow but it didn't bother us although it may if you are of a younger generation.

there's very little in the village of bream, but it's a good location for exploring the nearby forest facilities such as cycling and walking. Lydney is also close by. It has a supermarket and good rail links to Chepstow and Gloucester.

Great location. Well equipped. Everything you needed in the village. We went to the cottage to get away, walk and relax and it was perfect for us. The secure garden was great for the dogs. We would happily stay at the cottage again.

Situated in Bream, on the edge of the forest, the cottage was ideally located for exploration of the area. Minutes away from driving in the forest with a chance of seeing wild bore, fox and deer. 5 mins drive to Lydney and a supermarket. A lovely old farm cottage tastefully modernised - clean, warm and cosy, ideal for 2 people. Enjoyed our stay theRead morere and would certainly recommend to others. Hide
