The wooden table and chairs sit centre stage providing a great base for catching up after a day of exploring. Take a step back in time to the lounge, the stone mullion windows, exposed beams and inglenook fire create a cosy space just perfect for family nights in with board games, TV and DVD, and when the evening starts to get chilly why not light the wood burner. And when night falls there is a double bedroom on this floor. Lovely old quirky cottage with lots of original features but equally modernised for a comfortable stay. Well located to explore the attractions within the Forest of Dean and surrounding area. Probably not a suitable accommodation for those with mobility difficulties due to uneven floors, stairs and the stand alone bath (which is hard to get in/out Read moreof). Good sized garden (not enclosed) and local walks to exercise your dog - we even saw a wild boar in the woods. Friendly, helpful owner. Hide
