Commanding exquisite views across Loch Rannoch to majestic mountains and ancient woodland, this grand property is perfect for celebrating special occasions.

Prepare to celebrate in style in one of the most beautiful areas of the country, famous for spectacular landscapes, outdoor adventures and ancient history. Overlooking the tranquil waters of Loch Rannoch, this Victorian lodge is located within 21,000 acres of land belonging to a grand estate. There's plenty to entertain from the comfort of your doorstep, from scenic walks across the terrain, to fishing and clay pigeon shooting on-site. If you can tear yourself away, the nearby village of Kinloch Rannoch 6 miles away is a delightful place to explore, with picture-perfect views, cycle trails and local wildlife – not forgetting a pretty cafe for a spot of lunch.

Elegant and impressive, the property combines soft neutral decor with traditional details and antique furniture. Flooded by natural light, the sitting room has plenty of comfortable seats to accommodate your entire party. Two crackling open fires add to the atmosphere, inviting you to relax with a glass of something delicious in hand. Dinner is a glamorous affair thanks to the stylish dining room, with enough seating for 18 guests and a well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals. You could even hire a chef to prepare a feast! The games room is ideal for a round of table tennis, or a board game or two for those with a competitive spirit. The ground floor is also home to a drying room for muddy boots, a pantry, laundry and log store. There are even two additional toilets: one in the handy cloakroom, and another separate WC. The first of nine bedrooms is located downstairs too - a spacious double with an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs you'll discover the remaining eight bedrooms, all of which have their own en-suite or private bathroom and inviting king-size beds, which can be converted into twins on request.

Outside the property is an enchanting array of pretty flowerbeds, sweeping lawns and rolling hills as far as the eye can see. Settle down with the papers and freshly brewed coffee on the patio, savouring the ambience and spotting the resident wildlife. Or perhaps take an early morning stroll before breakfast, choosing from an array of scenic routes. If you are feeling energetic, the croquet lawn is marvellous fun for all ages.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £500 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Those looking to enjoy some of Perthshire's wonderful scenery can head to the Tay Forest National Park, just 10.5 miles away, or even the much larger Cairngorm National Park just 20 miles from the property. Whilst the vast estate doesn't benefit from any towering Munros, it does offer some impressive mountain peaks that are well worth a hike as well as some great spots for mountain biking adventures.

If you're looking to learn a little more about the history of the area then visit Taymouth Castle (22 miles), Castle Menzies (20 miles) or Blair Castle (20 miles), where you can learn about the Scottish clans of the past. Children will love the Iron Age dwelling at The Scottish Crannog Centre (19.5 miles) and older guests will jump at a distillery tour, as there are six whisky distilleries within a 30-mile radius of the house. Family members of all ages will be up for the enjoyable Highland Safari tour (18 miles) which offers the chance to see a variety of local wildlife.
