A delightful cottage set on a peaceful complex of 13 properties with a range of on site activities to enjoy. It is an ideal base for families looking to explore the delights of Devon and Cornwall.

A short walk or cycle along the footpath will lead you to the local pub and shop or a little further and you will find the Tarka Trail and the Ruby Way cycle trail. Rugged Dartmoor is a short drive and is perfect for nature lovers and walkers. The beaches of North Devon and Cornwall are a short drive, with Bude 16 miles away and offer a range of long, sandy, surfing beaches; cliff walks and sheltered coves to explore. Further afield you’ll find Castle Drogo, Lydford Gorge, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Launceston Steam Railway, Dingles Fairground and the south Devon coast. The property is a short journey from the picturesque traditional market towns of Hatherleigh, Holsworthy and Okehampton.

This delightful accommodation sits within a small friendly complex, with the neighbouring property sitting back to back with the other, which means you have your own private entrance and outdoor space. The property is set all on one level and accessed down a sloping pathway. Enter the property to find the kitchen/diner equipped with an integrated oven and hob with extractor hood, microwave fridge with ice compartment and a dishwasher. Dining is set around a small table which can be moved around to suit your dining preference. The lounge enjoys ample space around the TV/DVD – a comfortable spot to relax after a busy day of exploring. The cosy bedrooms consist of one double and one twin and there is a shower room with WC.

Outside you will have access to your own private, enclosed decked area with glimpses through the trees, over the fishing lake and out towards Dartmoor. There is a BBQ and garden seating so you will be equipped for alfresco dining. From here you will have access to the shared grounds, which are made up of a well-stocked fishing lake, a children’s play area and a shared indoor heated swimming pool (open all year round). There is also an external utility room, which is shared with other properties and offers a coin operated washing machine and tumble dryers. The property benefits from off-road parking for one car.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A bit far to drive to beaches but kids loved the pool and good access to cycle path for dog walks. Had smell of damp.

The property is clean and kitchen well equipped. We were greeted with a home baked Victoria sponge and pint of milk. The fridge was quite small so we had to shop throughout the week due to lack of space. There's also limited storage space in the kitchen. The main bedroom had a smell of damp which we couldn't locate. Not sure if it's due to age of tRead morehe property. The onsite pool and children's play area were great for the kids and the highlight of the property. Definitely good value facilities! Hide

In the middle of nowhere which is lovely but bear in mind you will have to drive everywhere. Wifi very hit and miss but again not really a problem as nice to not have kids glued to it. Lovely sized for 4 people and a dog. Decking area nice and big and pool is great for the children. Would highly recommend for family holidays as lots of places to goRead more riding/walking which are flat so great for younger family members. Can't wait to go again. Hide
