A rustic country cottage at the end of a private lane yet only a few miles from the beautiful west Wales coast. Relax with just the sounds of the local wildlife and stream trickling by to disturb you.

Located in a wooded glade, near the small village of Ciliau Aeron in the pretty Aeron Valley some three and a half miles from the picturesque Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron, a colourful destination with pebble beach and plenty of shops and eateries. There is an abundance of footpaths in the immediate area making it perfect for walkers. Sailing and water sport enthusiasts can enjoy the many beaches and welcoming harbours nearby. History lovers will delight at the beautifully restored National Trust Llanerchaeron House, which is a short drive. The bustling seaside village of New Quay is a little further along the coast and has even become home to a pod of dolphins.

Enter, what was once the clog makers cottage, into the dining area. From the dining room there is a doorway with one step down to a simple kitchen with wooden units, electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is plenty of rustic charm throughout this cottage, a doorway leads through to the lounge with warming wood burner, comfy sofas and TV. Proceed through the doorway to the large downstairs super-king-size bedroom. Go up the cottage stairs to two further bedrooms, a double and a twin both with wooden floors and views to the front of the property. There is a bathroom with bath, handheld shower and WC. There is a very useful room for children and teenagers to relax in via a small doorway.

Outside there are large grounds, bordered by a river and woodland, with a patio area along with your own private hot tub. There is ample parking in the private lane that leads to the cottage, the lane though is uneven in parts when driving to the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Such a beautiful place! The cottage is like stepping back in time but with modern home comforts. We had a perfect, relaxing week with our teenage boys and two labs. The dogs loved the river stream at the end of the garden!

This is our third stay at cwm cloccs. Its rustic magic was not lost. This piece of heaven gives you seclusion without being remote. We love the fact its just us there and our three dogs can run free without any problems. This visit we were entertained by squirrels on the lawn, owls at night and wrens bugging around the bedroom window. Set down a very rural track (watch out for cows in the lane) in a beautiful setting, so quiet, just the sound of birds and what can only be described as a rapid river running past the front of the property. If you want a peaceful location with no neighbours and your own stream, this takes some beating. Its also has good heating and a log fire. A beautiful cottage with much character. Very comfortable and welcoming with lots of additional and thoughtful extras. E.g the rugs available in the outdoor "snug" area were appreciated. Excellent hot tub for the humans and our dog totally loved the river at the front of the cottage.

A rustic character cottage which is very remote, hence the rough track access, but very private and peaceful. just lovely to sit in the garden and listen to the birdsong. Ideal for a break if you have canines. Wonderful hot tub.
