Dolphin Cottage is nicely presented, comfortable and well-equipped and has a lovely homely feel. Although there aren't really any views from the cottage, it has a great location right in the heart of the village and is only a couple of minutes walk away from the quayside, shops and restaurants. The cottage is in a great position in the centre of Appledore. It is well decorated and has character. The courtyard garden in pleasant to sit in on sunny days. It was good to be so close to the estuary, shops and restaurants. We managed to park on nearby streets on the weeks we stayed. If needed, there are two car parks within a few minutes walk. The cottage had lots of character and it was right near a great pizza restaurant for take aways and a great deli. Parking was free nearby but busy so sometimes you had to park on a line or far away or in a pay car park.
