The town of Dartmouth is 17 miles away, with its shops, water sports opportunities and a range of eateries. Nearby beaches included the popular Blackpool Sands and Salcombe. Plymouth is within a 45 minute drive, with the waterfront Barbican complex being a great place to spend an afternoon. This property enjoys a tranquil location, a short walk from the sea.

The lounge area, with its comfortable seating, TV, and DVD has doors which open out onto the patio area with sea views. The large enclosed garden has a long lawned area, alongside which runs the driveway with ample off-road parking. There is also a patio area with picnic-bench style seating just outside the lounge which offers guests a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the views across to the sea.

We arrived on a wet and windy October night to be welcomed by a warm and comfortable cottage with plenty of hot water. As we have two small dogs, the linoleum floors in the utility/boot room and laminate in the kitchen/diner were a godsend as we could dry off the dogs after walks on the beach without panicking about carpets etc. The kitchen was welRead morel equipped enabling us to cook a Sunday roast and a birthday cake! This property is situated in the most beautiful location. A short stroll across the golf links brings you to the coastal path and many other walks. The view from the patio and the house over towards the next bay is quite beautiful. The fact that the house is a little tired is probably why we dog owners have affordable access to such a lovely area. Read moreIt is completely perfect for dogs. I have been staying at delivers for 6 years as it is in a fantastic location, 5 mins walking distance from the beach, and the coast path that leads to hope cove and big bury. Also the property has a great sea view. It is also ideal for dogs with a large enclosed garden.
