The cottage was clean, tidy and bright. The only down side was to do any walking you had to cross a very busy road with fast moving traffic, so we didn't feel safe to walk to the pub, especially with the dog, which was about 10 mins walk away.

Lovely barn. A nice break from the outside world. The surrounding area although pretty, was very hard to go and walk our dogs as there are no pavements anywhere. Which meant we had to drive to walk our dogs. Very narrow country roads. Lovely views

We (two adults, two kids) enjoyed our stay. I thought it would be more rural based on the listing but it really is just on the edge of Bristol & was so easy & quick to get into the city by car. It is also located in the hills & provided a truly spectacular view overlooking Bristol, especially at night. The inside seems renovated recently, so everytRead morehing felt very new & clean. It was comfortable & cozy, though might be cramped for more than 4 people. Note: no wifi and cell reception was weak. Hide

This cottage is a perfect base for day trips to Bristol or Bath, Lovely location and easy to find. Very bright, warm and welcoming. Slight traffic noise and airplane noise but that was expected. All in all a lovely weekend escape.

Stayed at Ed's Barn for a long weekend in November - 3 adults plus our labrador. Accomodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed and a welcoming cosy pace to return to out of the cold and the rain(!) Excellent dog friendly pub just about a mile down the road a bonus!!

Eds barn is a lovely cosy cottage that gave us a great base to visit Bristol and Bath. Enclosed garden for our dogs, which they loved. Two pubs locally, we went to the Carpenters Tavern for a good meal and their quiz night. The only downside to the property is that there is quite a bit of traffic using the country lane outside the property and therRead moree was some airplane noise with the planes going into and out of Bristol Airport.
