A charming stone cottage combining the best of the Pembrokeshire coast and countryside. Beaches galore and attractions nearby making this a great base for couples and families alike.

A simply wonderful setting for a cottage holiday. Blessed with pretty lanes to take you to the local beaches starting at just a mile or so away, the Aberfelin Bay is a delight with a sand and shingle beach, revealing an archway at low tide, which is perfect for exploring. There are many other beaches to visit such as Abermawr, Abercastle and Abereiddy with its famous blue lagoon. Trefin has a pub and cafe which are within walking distance and well worth a visit. Approach the cottage via a few external steps up to the lovely decked area, with glass bi-folding doors into the fabulous sun room. This is a perfect spot to sit back, relax and gaze at the evening sunsets. This room leads into the cosy lounge with charming exposed stone walls and a wood burner immediately grabbing your attention. Comfortable sofas frame the room and there is a TV and DVD, this space is open-plan with the kitchen/diner and makes this a supremely friendly and inviting space. The contemporary kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. There are two ground floor bedrooms, a pretty double and a twin. The bathroom has a bath, separate shower and WC. The A-frame beams hint that there is more to be discovered and there is a wonderful second galleried lounge, known as a crog loft, where you can sit and relax with a good book and enjoy the rural outlook with coastline beyond.

A lovely, cosy cottage with room for a family to spread out. Well equipped and clean, we had everything we needed including milk and tea/coffee/sugar for a cuppa on arrival, a few dishwasher tablets and a hairdryer. The log burner is nice on an Autumn evening but the storage/convector heaters were enough to keep the place generally warm. This was a really comfortable cottage in which to spend a holiday. It's location is convenient and having the lane/foot path alongside the property really useful to exercise our dogs. The accommodation is well furnished and laid out, and our Great Dane and Staffie enjoyed their break too.

We enjoyed our week in Trefin which is a good location for visits to towns and resorts in the area. The local caf and pub are not nearby, a good mile away I would say.

This is a charming property which is relatively easy to find. The living room/dining room area is nice, but the best room is the sun room on the back of the house.
