Located in the village of Penclawdd, known for its local cockle industry, that goes back to Roman times. If you’re looking to explore on foot or two wheels, you are ideally located just on the edge of Gower, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Also, in the surrounding area, is a choice of golf courses, The Gower Golf Club and Machynys Peninsula Golf and Country Club. Just a short drive away you will find an array of wonderful beaches for you to explore and create precious memories and wonderful coastal walks to enjoy the dramatic coastline. Head to the city of Swansea, also a short drive away, for a great day out for everyone, with waterfront museum, marina and plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy. This property boasts a corner plot at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Enter this attractive detached property via the front door, into the sleek and contemporary hallway where the light floods in. To your right you will find the separate WC, and to your left is the spacious lounge. The perfect space to relax after a long day, with plenty of seating and wood burner, put your feet up and watch something on the TV. Just off the lounge you will find yourself in the spacious and sleek kitchen/diner, well-equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There are also patio doors here that lead out to the garden. Heading back to the hallway and down a set of stairs to the lower level, you will find the indoor heated swimming pool, with seating and bar area and a changing room with separate WC. Heading back to the hallway and up to the first floor, you will reach the spacious hallway with the bathroom with twin sinks, freestanding bath, separate shower and WC. You will also find the sleeping accommodation on this floor, the master king-size bedroom with en-suite, a shower and basin only. Another king-size bedroom, a double bedroom and last, but by no means least, a twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request).

From the kitchen, take the patio doors out to the large patio and garden area with garden furniture to dine al fresco, a tree house for the children and a sunken hot tub on the decking to relax in. There is also off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A spacious house; well laid out with everything you need and the pool area is amazing. The location is beautiful, within minutes of cliff walks, sandy beaches, moors and woods. With shops, takeaways and a pub within a few minutes walk, our only regret was we hadn't booked for longer!

What a beautiful house we loved it, the owners were lovely too, we walked from the house into Gower we also parked in mumbles and walked into Swansea, the rake and riddle pub was great food we ate there a few times, shops nearby were well priced, we have booked another week later in the year.
