Enjoying an elevated location with views across horse paddocks and mature woodland, this traditionally built shepherds hut with private hot tub is simply perfect for couples wanting to escape everyday life.

Set in 200 acres of Herefordshire farmland where you can leave the car behind and enjoy the local foot paths from your front door. The Herefordshire countryside is perfect no matter what the time of year, The Wye Valley Way offers river walks and golden valleys in Autumn, and the Forest of Dean rich with blue bells and snow drops in the spring. For cyclists you can join the National cycling trail and the country lanes or venture into the Forest for a slightly more challenging terrain. And in summertime why not hire a canoe and take time to enjoy the River. A trip to one of the many market towns is a must where you can pick up local produce from a farmers market or browse the independent shops.

Enjoy the views across the paddocks as you take the path to your shepherd’s hut, set within your paddock where you can start to unwind and enjoy your stay. The shepherds hut has been beautifully finished with carved wooden cupboards and gingham curtains to frame the wooden windows. There is a wood burning stove to keep you warm, a bespoke finished kitchen area with electric oven and hob and fridge freezer. A small table and chairs perfect for a simple supper. The double bed is raised and built in, a cosy space with views onto the countryside and a TV for a rainy day. A pretty wooden wardrobe with bathrobes and carved doors is great for storage. There is a separate hut that offers a spacious shower room with shower and WC.

Outside a spacious enclosed space where you can relax, a hot tub sits next to the hut where you can enjoy soaking after a day exploring or simply enjoy the night skies. There is also a summer house which stores a BBQ for summer dining. There is a table and chairs for two carved from a log where you can watch the sun go down. There is bike storage and parking for two cars.

Amazing view, couldn't beat it! Greeted by Sam & shown down to the hut. Everything explained and then left on our own to relax. Sounds of bleating sheep, chickens & horses (& the occasional tractor) it really was a fab stay. We visited pubs for lunch then back to the hut for drinks & nibbles to watch the sun go down. The hot tub was a nice treat toRead moreo. Not the cheapest get-a-way but certainly was a very comfortable, clean and tidy place to stay. Highly recommend it. Really enjoyable stay. Hide
