This cottage in the tranquil village of Warenford is the perfect getaway for families or friends, set moments away from a friendly pub where you can wind down after a day exploring Northumberland.
Located just five miles from the stunning village of Bamburgh, with its golden beach and historic castle of TV fame, this cottage is the ideal base for discovering Northumberland’s magnificent coastline. Also, nearby are the town of Seahouses and the village of Beadnell, firm favourites with visitors and offering an array of activities. From Seahouses, you might pay a visit to the spectacular Farne Islands, home to puffins and colonies of grey seals, or you might enjoy some adrenalin-raising water sports at Beadnell Bay. Further inland, you can take in the beauty of Chillingham Castle, a short drive away from the cottage.
The ground floor of this cosy yet spacious cottage boasts an ample kitchen with fridge/freezer, double oven and washer/dryer, along with a wooden dining table where you can enjoy meals with your friends and family. The separate lounge area is equipped with Sky (removing at the end of October 2021), TV/DVD, an electric fire and two generous sofa beds. On the first floor, you will find a double and a twin bedroom, each with an en-suite shower room, together with a further double bedroom with a full bathroom. All bedrooms have their own TVs.
Guests can dine al fresco on the sheltered patio, which comes equipped with outdoor furniture. You also have access to the outside shared tennis court. (Please bring own equipment)
Off-road parking for up to two cars is provided on the property’s gravel driveway.
In line with current government guidance, the shared indoor swimming pool, gym and sauna are now open to cottage guests. The tennis court is available and guests are advised to bring their own equipment.
