Stylish period cottage and garden with mountain views in Snowdonia National Park, set in the heart of slate mining town, Blaenau Ffestiniog, perfect to explore the North Wales countryside and culture.

Enjoy local arts, crafts and produce from Blaenau Ffestiniog local shops and eateries. Walkers, climbers and cyclists alike can relish the challenges in the area from gentle strolls and hill side cycles to tackling steep climbs or one of the many paths to Snowdon’s summit. Adrenalin seekers can go underground at Llechwedd Slate Caverns, take on Zip World Titan, the largest zip line in Europe or try new outdoor activities. Visit National Trust’s sites, take a ride on the narrow gorge steam train or take a trip to the well know Italianate village of Portmeirion, near Porthmadog. The area is full of wooded vales, rocky slopes, mountain lakes, sandy beaches, family attractions, history and culture. This is a great all year round destination, just perfect for your holiday.

An end of terrace period cottage with creature comforts and all the thoughtful little extras for your holiday. The lounge is light and airy with comfortable sofas and wood burner effect electric fire set in the feature fireplace. Enjoy a film on the Smart TV (with basic Sky package), enjoy music through the Bluetooth speaker system or lose yourself in a good book. If you decide to eat in walk through to the stylish kitchen/diner, well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining table, perfectly positioned by the window, is a great place to enjoy your meal and after dinner, play cards, open your maps to plan your activities or play some board games. After a full day out retire to one of the three bedrooms on the first floor, all with soft towels and designed to induce a good night’s sleep. Choose from the king-size, small double or single bedrooms with lovely mountain views. Enjoy a leisurely shower in the contemporary shower room with shower and WC, that completes the accommodation.

The gravelled garden, set into the natural rock, offers space to enjoy a BBQ, al fresco dining and to embrace the views whilst relaxing on the table and chairs. There is private parking for one car and bikes can be locked to the railings if you need secure storage.
