This property is a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. A well-appointed, traditional cottage located in Warenford, a quiet village just a short drive from Bamburgh beach.

This centrally located cottage is near the stunning Northumbrian coast for all the best sights in the area: Beadnell village with its stunning horseshoe bay and water sports or Alnwick Gardens with its water features and Rose Garden. Set in the quiet village of Warenford, this cottage is within ten minutes' drive of Purdy Lodge’s Bar and Grill where a 10% discount is offered to guests. In addition, Bamburgh is just twelve minutes' drive from the property with its spectacular castle, independent shops and range of cafes and restaurants. From Seahouses, guests can take a boat trip to the Farne Islands and revel in the wild bird and seal sightings. This is a wonderful base from which to explore Northumbria.


Upon entering this beautiful cottage, you will notice it is set conveniently over one level and easily accessible via two steps into the entrance and two more into the hallway. If you have mobility limitations, there is an accessibility ramp to the right of the entrance with two small steps on the left. In this single-storey property, you have the choice between two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, and a third twin bedroom, offering space for up to six guests to relax. Nearby, you will see the main bathroom equipped with a shower over the bath and WC. Perfect for a homely evening, you can enjoy relaxing on the two leather sofas in the living area with a flame effect gas fire, TV/DVD. Finally, you enter the kitchen with a dining table, where up to six guests can enjoy cosy suppers. The extensive kitchen facilities include a fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, electric hob and oven.


Heading outside, you will find a small garden enclosed by hedge and fence with seating. This is a great spot for your stress-free summer nights and for you to enjoy outdoor dining. In addition, all the family will love the on-site private leisure facilities: swimming pool, (small gym and sauna are not available at this time due to Covid-19) and access to a tennis court (own equipment required). This is certain to provide you with a total holiday experience. This cottage welcomes one dog for a small additional charge. There is also off-road parking for one car available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Friendly and helpful owner..sorted out minor issues promptly. Comfortable , well located cottage. We would stay again.
