The nearby town of Barnstaple offers an array of amenities including the characterful Pannier Market, at Bideford you can jump on the Oldenburg and enjoy a day trip to Lundy Island. Other attractions in the area include RHS Rosemoor, Tapeley Park, Arlington Court and Dartington Crystal. Or why not bring your bikes access the traffic free Tarka Trail which is only a stones throw from the cottage.
A stone ramp takes you to the front door and inside this easily accessible property where the accommodation immediately opens into a beautifully spacious and light open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Here comfortable sofas sit in front of a TV with DVD, and this lovely sociable space provides the perfect place to relax in style after a day exploring. The kitchen area is perfectly equipped with all the essentials including an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Also located on this floor is the first of the bedrooms, a cosy twin room with an en-suite WC. Venturing up the stairs and onto the first floor you will then discover the rest of the beautiful bedrooms, both having been lovingly styled with a contemporary country aesthetic. Heading outside and located to the rear of the cottage there is a small enclosed patio area with garden furniture and BBQ which provides the perfect place to dine alfresco during warm weather.
