One of three beautifully furnished properties in the Wye Valley, holding a perfect position to enjoy stunning scenery.

These former stone barns that date back to the 1800’s, have been transformed to provide lovely accommodation within a 4 acre setting. A perfect position for enjoying the stunning scenery the area has to offer with the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons being a short drive away.

The area is particularly famed for its relaxed pace of life and wonderful walks in virtually every direction which culminates with the Crickhowell Walking Festival in March. Immerse yourselves in Welsh cultural history with a visit to one of many historic houses, gardens and castles, the nearest being Tretower Court and Castle which is a classic moat and bailey castle nearly 1000 years old. There are a wealth of attractions including the National Park Visitor Centre, Craig-y-Nos Country Park, Dan-yr-Ogof and The National Showcaves of Wales, The Brecon Mountain Railway, Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal, South Wales Borderers Museum and Abergavenny Castle and Museum to name a few within reach. Other events well worth noting are The Hay Festival of Literature and The Brecon Jazz Festival.

This charming reverse level property boasts wonderful country views and provides spacious rooms for you to enjoy and relax. As you enter the property you will find yourself in the spacious hallway with doors leading off to the two ground floor bedrooms one of which is a twin bedroom and the other a double, along with these two bedrooms you will find the ground floor shower room and WC, which completes the ground floor. As you head upstairs to the first floor, this is home to the further two double bedrooms and family bathroom with shower over bath and WC along with the wonderful kitchen/lounge/diner boasting wonderful views and added wood burner. This is the perfect social space to enjoy an evening meal, talking about the days events and listening to some classic tunes on the record player which has been provided for your musical entertainment.

Heading outside you can explore the communal grounds and seating areas along with enjoying a game of table tennis in the shared communal courtyard.

All three properties can be booked together to accommodate a larger group. Please contact our Reservations Team for further details and prices. A special 10% discount is available for bookings made at least 6 months before the holiday date (when booking all three properties together).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Stunning property in a beautiful location, great for all ages! Owners were lovely and helpful. Grounds were well kept and great for the kids to explore. Some fabulous walks through the countryside or more challenging hills. Easy stroll to the river for canoing or a wild swim, and lots of peaceful spots for a picnic. The cottage was beautiful and very well equipped. The bedrooms were all spacious and the open plan living/dining room was lovely for the while family to catch up in! My nephew and dog loved the grounds too. We were able to play football, frisby and have a bbq. It was big enough that we gelt like the only people there even though the other cottages Read morewere full too. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely stay there again!!! Hide
