Heading up to the first floor you will find a twin bedroom with plenty of hanging space and a dressing table to get ready for the day. This bedroom also benefits from an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

To the front of the cottage is a fenced patio area with a table and chairs, for you to sit and enjoy the peaceful scenery further, perhaps with a glass of wine. On a warm summer’s night, you can even try dining al fresco. A laundry room is on site, with access to an ironing board, small freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer (small fee payable to the owner). A small book, games and DVD library are also available for you to browse and take to your cottage. My cottage, one of 3 adjoining , is beautifully situated and easy to find, along some narrow lanes used by large tractors from commercial farm close by. The cottages are best suited to couples (with dogs) - happy with dark skies, nature, away from local village facilities. With this in mind, access to the A39 and the picturesque north coast of CornRead morewall within easy reach - from Port Issac to north of Bude. Hide

Deborah was so welcoming and thoughtful. Goonbell is small but delightful, loved having a woodburning stove for cosy evenings. Peaceful location yet easy to get to beaches and towns. Would definitely recommend.

We were so grateful for the clean and well-equipped cottage in a beautiful quite location. A number of nice details were much appreciated such as the complementary bottle of wine, the fire laid in the grate and the helpful file of cottage details.

Goonbell is an ideal choice for a couple who want a secluded cottage within a 20 minute drive to a superb coastal location at Crackington Haven. Although advertised as dog-friendly there was absolutely no evidence of canine occupation.

Lovely comfortable, homely cottage. Great for mother and daughter holidays because it has two single beds. Fantastic country views from bedroom window. We enjoyed staying here very much.
