A wonderful dog friendly holiday cottage complex, situated in North Devon with an abundance of coastal walks near by,

This converted old hay barn , originally built in c.1820 is set within 5 acres of beautiful countryside. Ideally located for cyclists and walkers and close to North Devon’s beaches and coastal paths. Take a day out to visit Bude, Hartland, Clovelly, Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven, or for the more adventurous drive out to Bodmin Moors which includes Brown Willy, the highest point in Cornwall. The nearby market town of Holsworthy has shops, pubs, a weekly pannier market, and a sports centre with an indoor heated pool. Other activities include Holsworthy cycle route, golf and fishing, There are numerous attractions in the area such as The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Dartington Crystal, The Tamar Otter Park and a selection of National Trust properties.

Entering on the ground floor of this reverse level property you will find two of the bedrooms, a double with en-suite shower room with walk-in shower and WC. There is a further super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom, (which can be made up as a twin on request) The family bathroom is also on the ground floor, with shower over bath and WC. Taking the stairs up to the first floor you will be greeted by the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area is comfortably furnished with a TV, DVD player and DAB radio with iPod dock The kitchen is fully equipped, including, electric oven, electric hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. The dining table and chairs seat 6, perfect for family or friends to enjoy an evening meal and plan the next day’s adventures. From the lounge area, stairs lead to a mezzanine level, where the twin beds are situated, these are ideal for the younger members of the family.

Heading outside to the shared gardens, there is a sheltered courtyard with tables and chairs and a charcoal barbecue and fire pit which are available for use. The spacious play area is a hit with the children along with the tranquil woodland walks for dog owners, The shared facilities include, heated outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, woodland walks, which are perfect for furry friends, children’s play area and adventure trail. There is a shared games room with pool table and table football, and finally, the cellar bar for an evening tipple (this does not have set opening hours, details will be given on arrival). There is a gravelled parking area for 2 cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
