Located in the village of Poughill on the outskirts of Bude, this stylish house is light, bright and offers an enclosed garden perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

You will have the best of both worlds, set in a charming village location and yet within a mile of the popular town of Bude, with its selection of sandy beaches, shops, restaurants and pubs. The ruggedly beautiful, Northcott Mouth Beach is just 1.5 miles from the property, which has a rocky cove and a sandy beach emerges when the tide is out. Should you wish to venture further afield, Poughill is just two miles from the A39 which links the north Cornish coast to the rest of this unique and enchanting county. St Agnes, Newquay, Truro, Dartmoor, Hartland, Bodmin Moor and the Lizard Peninsula with their breath-taking scenery are easily accessible. No trip to this part of the world is complete without visiting Tintagel, filled with the myth and legend of King Arthur.

On entering this stylish and attractively designed property you will find yourself in the inviting lounge/dining area where you can snuggle up in front of the TV and DVD and enjoy the blaze of the open fireplace. The dining area is ideally situated whether you’re enjoying a big meal or grabbing a quick snack. Crossing into the snug and traditional kitchen you will find everything you need including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher (located under the stairs). The washing machine and freezer are stored in the garage. Returning through the lounge you will find the bright and airy conservatory from which you can access the garden. Going upstairs, you will find three comfy bedrooms: one king-size, one double and one single. There is also a bathroom, complete with bath, separate shower and WC.

Heading outside you can sit back, relax and unwind in the delightful enclosed garden with lawn, decked area, table and chairs. Off-road parking is available for two cars.

We enjoyed the homeliness of this cottage. In a great location, either a 30 mins stroll or short drive to a handful of beaches. We have a dog so enjoyed the walking. Close to the local amenities, great pub close by.

A lovely well equipped cottage which is very comfortable and has all you should need. Good location to get to local beaches and Bude but you will need to drive or use local bus. Friendly pub with good food a five minute walk but no paths so give way to traffic but everyone is very considerate. Kitchen is compact but has pretty much all you need butRead more mind your head and if you bring a lot you may need to store some in the garage as cupboard space is limited. Hide

Fantastic holiday cottage. Like home from home. Modern, clean and lots of additions wasnt expecting like body boards to borrow, beach equipment. Only 4 minute drive to sandy beach. Perfect location for exploring Cornwall. Highly recommend

We loved our stay at Happy Days! The location was perfect for days out and a walk to the local pub which served delicious food. I wouldnt say it was walking distance to the beach though as originally stated. The long country lane wouldve been too dangerous for us with a pram and a large dog, luckily we checked it out in the car first! Lovely cottage, well equipped, especially useful having enclosed garden and garage for extra 'stuff'. 25 mins walk to Crooklets beach, uphill on way back so could use bus in summer. Lovely pub within walking distance that does great food and has live music. We were 3 adults spending Xmas there, kitchen space a bit challenging but brought table in fRead morerom garage so managed ok. Cottage very warm so didn't use open fire but would be great if there was cold spell. Altogether a great place to stay. Hide
