We received a warm welcome from the owner on arrival, and were delighted with the level of equipment and the thought that had gone into making us feel at home. The Lodge is ideally located for access to the moor for walking, with a good pub (spacious beer garden) just two mins walk away. The back garden is "dog proof" and there is plenty of room in the cottage for four. We would definitely consider a return visit.

A super find through Holiday Cottages, this was a quirky place, must admit on arrival wondered where we had come, because it still looks like a w.i. hut, but when you walk through the front door it's like Dr. Who's tardis, it very spacious, beautifully furnished and so very well equipped, certainly home from home, you want for nothing. Very well situated and equipped. Due to typical British weather it was 5 centigrade at the beginning of the week and 22c by the end. The property was cosy when it was cold and pleasantly cool when it was hot. Good WiFi and would definitely recommend the property on all fronts.

Second visit to this lovely warm cottage. Everything was perfect from the lovely comfortable beds to the biscuits for the dog! Only a couple of minutes walk to Haytor ideal for the dog and the local pub and just a few miles drive to Bovey Tracey with its shops and craft centre and the National trust property of Parke.
