We had a fabulous stay - the cottage is beautiful and well maintained with lots of extra home comforts as well. The secure garden was great for our greyhounds and meant we didn't have to worry about them escaping. The location is also perfect for exploring Dartmoor. We are very much hoping to return for another visit in the future.

Haytor Lodge was very comfortable and had plenty of room for 4 people. Parking was enough for 2 cars but you have to be careful when leaving property as you are on a blind bend. Lovely walks and brilliant scenery right on your doorstep. We went travelling on a couple of days and the local village and town were both lovely to visit and had some goodRead more shops. If you wanted a day out at the beach there are a few quite near you could travel to and everywhere was clean with no litter. Hide

A very impressive conversion and lovely quirky interior. This was our second visit, first time away since lockdown and felt very safe, lovely and clean, with sanitiser at the doorway. Still one of the best equipped kitchens in any cottage we've stayed at, walking distance to 2 pubs and Haytor. We'd recommend Ilsington community shop and Carpenters Read moreArms, and Ullsworth Farm shop on the road from Bovey Tracey is very well stocked for everything you might need. Hide

Really pleased with comfort levels, and location close to Haytor. Would have been a fantastic holiday if weather had been a bit brighter, and if we hadn't chosen to cut the holiday short because of the increasing COVID restrictions.

A wonderful location in every respect, the dog friendly Rock Inn just down the road is an added bonus as is the local Farm Shop and cafe (both dog friendly). Excellent facilities, comfort and ambiance in the lodge itself. We were even moved to sing Jerusalem as the words are displayed in the lobby! Five stars in every respect.
