Nice enough stay if you are happy to accept all the quirks of this rural cottage. The scenery and walks suggest a tranquil stay but the romance of the place was lost as walls are paper thin and with families on either side it was quite noisy at times. Kitchen equipment is quite tired and needs replacing. While TV is provided the Freeview and internRead moreet works intermittently. The location was perfect to explore the local places of interest and enjoyed the views. However, overall, wouldnt stay again. Hide

Hazelnut Cottage is located in a beautiful part of Dorset with views of Swanage and Corfe Castle from the bedroom window. It is very comfortable and I have stayed there on several occasions and will, of course, return.

This is a wonderful cosy cottage and we loved our stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the furnishings very comfortable which made relaxing in front of the log fire very relaxing in the evenings. Lovely cottage with everything you require if you had to stay in for a rainy day. View from the bedroom is the best ever - lovely to wake up to. It is very central for walking routes without having to use a car and near to the bus stop and a very good pub in the village.
