Detached bungalow situated in an elevated position surrounded by fields, and yet within walking distance of Woolacombe’s village centre, with its spectacular beach, and range of shops.

This property enjoys a lovely location, situated on a hillside with far-reaching sea views. The seaside resort of Woolacombe is within walking distance of the property and boasts a wonderful three-mile wide sandy beach, perfect for families, and also popular with surfers. Those who want to try their hand at surfing and other sea-based water sports can take a lesson at the Woolacombe Surf Centre. There are a range of eateries in the village, as well as a number of shops. Further afield, there are a number of other attractive beaches close by, including those at Croyde and Saunton Sands, as well as the popular harbour town of Ilfracombe, which is just six miles away.

This single-storey property sleeps six in spacious and stylish accommodation. The dual-aspect lounge enjoys views across the local countryside to the sea, and is an elegant room with a large sofa, feature fireplace, TV/DVD. The dining room has a glass table seating six, and a pretty window seat, which again, offers attractive views. A breakfast offers a smaller dining table, and is perfect for less formal meals or, perhaps, makes a great place for children to eat. The property’s kitchen though modest in size, is well-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, whilst an exterior utility room houses the washing machine. The three bedrooms share the same under-stated and tasteful styling as the rest of the property, creating restful spaces for guests to relax in. The first bedroom is a king-size room, and there is also a twin and a bunk bedroom, offering a range of sleeping spaces to suit all members of the family. The bathroom has a shower-over-bath and WC.

Outside, there is a spacious rear garden which measures almost one acre, offering plenty of space to enjoy the quiet surroundings and views, there is even a goalpost for enjoying a friendly kick-about. The decked area to the front of the house offers a fantastic place to lie back on the sun loungers and enjoy the sun, or perhaps enjoy a BBQ or simply sit with a drink. Of course, the property’s hot tub, provides guests with the ultimate chance to relax and let the stresses of daily life melt away. For younger guests, there is a table tennis table in the garage, which provides lots of fun, no matter the weather. There is ample off-road parking.

Amazing location and the view from the hot tub is like nothing else. The accommodation is basic but lots of space. The kitchen is fine when cooking for two but challenging for four or more.

The bungalow was very lovely and in a great position. We took one car down to park by the beach (10 per day) and 2 of our party walked down the very pleasant pathway that starts just a short distance from the property and goes through a campsite and across the countryside down to the town. The hot tub proved a massive hit with the children (aged 5 Read more& 3) and was a winner on our rainy days. We liked Barricane Beach as it was quieter and delivered beach and rock pools in close proximity. Hide

Lovely views & a nice size property which is fairly well equipped & nicely furnished. Hot tub was nice. Welcome gifts of prosecco/cookies/biscuits & milk was great. However it is let down by the fact it suffers from damp, even with all the windows open we could smell it & see it! The garage for the table tennis was dirty/cluttered so we never used Read moreit. Quite disappointed as it has the potential to be really lovely with better maintenance. Hide

Ideal cottage for a family get away. Location excellent for access to North Devon spots. although road / traffic to beach for a walk is challenging if you want a truly safe walk. Facilities good.

Lovely bungalow. Hot tub in the garden was lovely. Good garden for dogs. You do need to use your car a lot as the road to woolacombe has no path and is dangerous to walk down.

Really great location with amazing views. Hot tub was lovely to warm up after a bracing walk on the beach. Well equipped cottage has everything you need for cooking and a lovely bottle of fizz to welcome you. Cottage had lots of space internally and externally.

This cottage was perfect for our family of 5. Lots to entertain us all there, easy distance from a shop and pub and short drive to the village and beach. The views were stunning and the caretakers extremely helpful when the outside airer had broken. They gave us a replacement the same day.

The holiday cottage was the best I have been to, it was clean, comfortable, and the location was great, it was fantastic for my two dogs they had plenty of room to run about outside and it was totally save for them. The hot tub was an added extra. The whole holiday was fabulous and have booked up to go there again next year.
